Following a call for nominations sent to members on February 2, 2022, five specialist physicians are standing as candidates for a vacant board director position. The voting delegates of the Representative Assembly (RA) will cast ballots among these candidates to fill the board vacancy:
- Dr Gaurav Bahl, Radiation Oncologist
- Dr Ron Collins, Anesthesiologist
- Dr David Kim, Emergency Medicine
- Dr Elizabeth Swiggum, Cardiologist
- Dr Ali Zentner, Internal Medicine
The by-election for this vacancy will open for the RA voting delegates on Friday March 4, 2022 and will close at 11:59pm Tuesday April 5, 2022, with the announcement of the successful candidate to be made on Wednesday April 6, 2022.
This by-election is the result of the resignation of a specialist board director, therefore the term is for the remainder of their term which will conclude on December 31, 2022.
