Collaborate on health in BC
The Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs)—a partnership of Doctors of BC and the BC government—facilitate and support collaboration among physicians and partners in the health care system to ensure all British Columbians receive the highest standard of medical care.
The JCCs consist of the following:
- Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC)
- Specialist Services Committee (SSC)
- Shared Care Committee (SCC), and
- Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC)
What makes these committees unique is that the representatives on them—physicians, government, and health authority representatives—make decisions jointly, with all partners coming together. The Physician Master Agreement (PMA) allocates funding for the JCCs.
Information about the committees, including how to get involved in their programs, can be found on the JCC website.
