The Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) supports the training needs of physicians in rural areas, offering undergraduate medical students and post-graduate residents hands-on rural practice experience.

It also enhances the involvement of rural physicians in the medical school selection process. Managed by the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues, REAP organizes its programs into categories for rural practitioners, residents, and learners.

For more information and to check if you qualify for any of the programs, please refer to the Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCBBC).
