Walk with your Doc is Doctors of BC’s public health campaign that gets British Columbians moving builds community relationships, and shows that BC doctors ‘walk the talk.’ Each year during the week of May 10, doctors host walking events in their communities. The walks are a fun and simple way to get patients and community members moving and to discuss the benefits of daily activity with them in an informal, social setting.

We know that BC’s doctors treat patients when they need medical care, but doctors also care about supporting British Columbians when it comes to making healthy lifestyle decisions and maintaining good health. These province-wide events help doctors promote positive change by walking with their patients and discussing the benefits of daily activity in an informal, social setting.

Walk with your Doc walks are fully funded by Doctors of BC, and all events are free. For more information, visit walkwithyourdoc.ca.
