Inpatient Care

Inpatient care will be part of the LFP Payment Model. Payment for inpatient care services will be based on time and interactions, with rates based on the common workflows for inpatient care from admission to discharge. There is also a premium on after-hours direct patient care time.
 
The Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC) will provide new on-call/availability payments for long-term and inpatient care. The new on-call/availability funds will be administered by local divisions of family practice. Please visit the FPSC website for more information on the new on-call/availability payments.
