Doctors and other health care professionals can refer pre-natal and pregnant patients to public and community health services that offer a range of supports including preventative health screening, health promotion, access to evidence-based resources, and follow-up with health-related social needs. Referrals can be made by phone, fax or online.
Information on referrals with contact details are available in this letter from Dr Bonnie Henry, Provincial Health Officer, and Bernard Achampong, Executive Director, Public Health and Planning, Ministry of Health.
