Statement on diversity and inclusion

Message from Dr Kathleen Ross, President, Doctors of BC and Mr Allan Seckel, CEO, Doctors of BC

As an Association for physicians dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of patients and communities, we are deeply saddened by recent incidents of racism and violence in the US. There is no place for racism wherever it occurs, including our own communities. 

Doctors of BC supports diversity and inclusion in all areas of society, and believes that everyone should be treated with fairness, dignity and respect. We strive to achieve equity and inclusion in our organization, and encourage everyone to stand for these values in words and actions everyday.
