The Ministry of Health is asking health care providers in all facilities, including doctors in community offices, to provide medical masks to patients who enter and leave the premises. This is the result of a new policy that states patients and visitors must wear medical masks in all settings where medical care is provided.
Doctors who do not have adequate supplies to meet the increased need as a result of this policy change are asked to contact their health authorities, who will provide interim supplies to meet the demand. This process will be in place until doctors with community offices begin to receive PPE at no cost for the duration of the pandemic through a new centralized distribution center. This is expected to happen in the near future. Updated information will be provided as soon as possible.
Vancouver Coastal

PHSA will supply anyone on their medical staff with PPE for their Community Practices. Otherwise physicians should contact the respective Health Authority in which they work.
