BC Medical Journal

The British Columbia Medical Journal (BCMJ) is the flagship publication of Doctors of BC. The BCMJ’s mandate is to provide continuing medical education and serve as a forum for association news and members’ opinions. Published 10 times a year, the BCMJ publishes high-quality BC-focused clinical and review articles, primarily written by BC physicians for BC physicians. All content is freely available on the BCMJ’s open-access website www.bcmj.org.

Peer reviewed by an Editorial Board of physicians, the BCMJ operates at arm’s length from the Doctors of BC, thereby allowing open debate and discussion on all kinds of medicine-related topics.

In the most recent survey, 90% of respondents said they read the BCMJ on a regular basis—the most for any publication listed, including all national medical journals.
