2022 Allocation Committee

The 2022 Allocation Committee, established under the 2022 Physician Master Agreement, has the mandate to make changes to the Service Contract and Salary Agreement payment ranges to address issues of disparity among Service Contract and Salary Agreement Payment Ranges and to address rising business costs. The Committee is comprised of an equal number of Doctors of BC and Government representatives. The Committee will attempt to reach agreement on the distribution of a total of $31.2 million to adjust the Payment Ranges. In the event that the Committee cannot reach agreement by January 31, 2024, the funding will be allocated on an equal dollar per FTE basis to all of the Payment Ranges.
