The Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC) is a committee under the Physician Master Agreement (PMA) and Rural Practice Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), and is a vehicle for representatives of the Government of BC, Doctors of BC, and the health authorities to enhance the retention and recruitment of rural physicians in BC.

The JSC is comprised of rural family physicians, specialists, health authority representatives, and Ministry of Health representatives.
