On April 16, Doctors of BC launched its biennial Benchmark Member Survey. It’s an important pathway for us to engage with you and your physician colleagues throughout British Columbia, and it helps us better understand your needs and what’s important to you. As your professional Association, we strive to represent your needs and priorities. As we continue to navigate a constantly changing health care landscape, we ask that you share your thoughts on:

  • How we’re doing in meeting your needs
  • How we’re doing in advocating for the profession
  • What your upcoming priorities are
  • The value of the programs and services we offer you

Doctors of BC will use this information to help chart the Association’s path forward, make any necessary shifts to meet your expectations, and find ways to improve how we work for BC’s doctors. We encourage you to please look for the email invitation sent on April 16 and share your thoughts with us.

Completing the survey

You will have received the survey via email on April 16 from Doctors of BC Surveys, with the subject line “Member Survey: How are we doing?” The survey will be open for three weeks, from Wednesday, April 16, to Wednesday, May 7, and will take 10–15 minutes to complete. External polling company TWI Surveys is once again conducting the survey, and as always, your answers are anonymous and confidential—Doctors of BC will not know your individual responses.

Upon completing the survey, you can enter a draw to win one of two iPads. To enter, you must provide your name and email address, which will be sent directly to TWI Surveys—Doctors of BC will not see this information.

If you have any questions or do not receive your email invitation or subsequent reminders, please contact surveys@doctorsofbc.ca. If interested, you can access previous survey results on our Member Surveys webpage. We hope you will take the time to share your thoughts and let us know how we are doing—your opinion matters.
